These Terms & Conditions (the « Terms ») govern access to and use of the website aura-collection.ca (the « Site ») and any purchase made through the Aura Collection online store, operated by Aura Import Export Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of Quebec (« Aura, » « we, » « us, » or « our »).
By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must have reached the age of majority in Quebec (18 years old) or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, to place an order on the Site.
2. Our Products
Aura imports products from international suppliers, including China. Every product is first shipped to Canada, then physically inspected by our team before being listed for sale. Photos and descriptions on the Site reflect the product as inspected by us, not generic manufacturer stock images.
Despite this inspection, slight variations (color, packaging, finish) may occur between batches due to the nature of imported goods. Product availability is not guaranteed and may change without notice.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Prices displayed on the Site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order.
- Applicable taxes (GST/QST, or applicable sales tax based on your delivery location) are added at checkout.
- Payment is processed securely by our PCI-DSS certified payment processors (WooCommerce Payments/Stripe, PayPal). Aura never stores your payment card details.
- In the event of an obvious pricing or description error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order, even after confirmation, and to issue a full refund.
4. Order Confirmation and Acceptance
The order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute final acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or non-compliance with these Terms. In such cases, you will be notified and fully refunded if payment has already been charged.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship to Canada and the United States. Estimated shipping timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy and/or at checkout.
For orders delivered within Canada, the risk of loss or damage to the product remains with us until actual possession of the goods is taken by you or a person you have designated, in accordance with Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.
Orders Shipped to the United States
Orders delivered to the United States may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by U.S. customs authorities, which are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the price displayed on the Site. Aura is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or the carrier.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty
All products sold on the Site are covered by the legal warranty of quality provided under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec, which applies regardless of any other policy. This legal warranty cannot be reduced or excluded by these Terms.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
In accordance with Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, you may, in certain circumstances provided by law (including significant delivery delays beyond the promised date), request cancellation of your contract and a full refund. This right is in addition to those provided under our Return & Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site’s content (text, photos of inspected products, logos, layout, code) is the property of Aura or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without our prior written consent is prohibited.
9. Customer Accounts and Site Use
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You may not use the Site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, or in any way that compromises its operation or security (including automated data scraping or unauthorized access attempts).
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aura is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or data) arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability to you, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the product in question.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be limited or excluded under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable public-order law.
11. Force Majeure
Aura is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to customs delays, natural disasters, carrier strikes, or international supply chain disruptions.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quebec, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your place of residence, which remain applicable notwithstanding any provision to the contrary.
In accordance with Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, no mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver applies to consumers.
13. Language
In accordance with the Charter of the French Language, the French version of these Terms prevails in the event of any discrepancy with any translation, for consumers residing in Quebec.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time you place your order applies. The « Last updated » date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
